the other day I was talking to my cousin from another state and i said blue bayou is opening soon and they asked me if blue bayou was an actual bayou and I laughed.

im from old harvey and i grew up calling it the icebox uwu" it just kinda depends on where your parents are from i guess??? my dads from cut-off so that explains alot for me

Yeah, I think it’s what your parents/grandparents called it growing up, that will be what you know.

My grandmother has always called it an icebox. I'm Louisiana made&raised.
